Born in England to a British mother and an Iranian father, Yasmin Parvaneh, at an early age set two goals for herself: to travel as much as possible and to learn as much as she could. She never thought about modeling but when she was approached about becoming a model, everything made sense to her. She could become a model AND travel the world and learn about other people, cultures and life!
Yasmin exudes mystery and intrigue. Her tall, dark and gorgeous good looks made both men and women take a second glance. In April 1987, Paul Marciano, President and Creative Director of GUESS?, Inc. gave Yasmin the chance of a lifetime. She appeared alongside of Estelle Halliday in a GUESS? advertising campaign shot by Wayne Maser in Paris. Yasmin was on her way to supermodel stardom.
Her modeling career allowed her to travel to exotic destinations as well as meet interesting people. When she first met Simon Le Bon, then the lead singer of Duran Duran, it was love at first sight. They soon got married but because he was touring so much with the band, she decided to take a break from the fashion business and begin her family. From 1989 to 1994, she had three beautiful daughters. Now in her early 30’s, Yasmin Le Bon has it all - she’s a supermodel, a mother of three daughters, and a wife of rock star Simon Le Bon.
