Nazanin was born in Iran, studied in France and England and graduated from the University of British Colombia with a degree in International Relations & Political Science. She is currently studying Broadcast Journalism whilst balancing a successful career as an actress, model and Red Cross Global Youth Educator. She teaches topics including the poverty-disease cycle, children in war, landmines and natural disasters, and plans to make documentaries on these subjects after becoming a foreign correspondent. Nazanin is also a pilot, holding licenses for both powered aircraft and gliders and has achieved the highest possible rank in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
In her spare time she enjoys: voice, drama, public speaking, dance, competitive sports and bush survival skills.
